What are Cosmac's main products?Cosmac tends to specialise in products which are worn on some part of the body - products which will either compress, support or protect. In particular, we have a very strong knowledge of and expertise in, graduated compression garments for vascular problems and lymphoedema. Cosmac is Australian agent for IBICI and GloriaMed stockings, and also for TRUFORM. At a retail level, we also fit and supply other brands of stockings (even those of our competitors!) if we feel that they are more appropriate, or if they are specifically requested by a prescriber. We also handle a large range of body and limb supports and accessories, post-surgical garments, and protective garments for the hips and limbs. Cosmac is Australian agent for the DALE (USA) range of abdominal binders and post-surgical bras. Through our associated company, Axcess Home Health Direct, our group is also active in the distribution of clinical nutrition products and accessories to home-based customers, hospitals and aged care facilities. Where are your products available?As well as our own 4 retail outlets, you can purchase our products from various sources throughout Australia. If you advise us of your location, we will direct you to your nearest stockist. Alternatively, if you are sure of the product you need, we can send the product directly to you. Who are Cosmac's main customers?In addition to our 4 retail fitting centres, Cosmac also supplies to medical clinics, hospitals, physiotherapists, and wholesales to re-sellers such as pharmacies and surgical suppliers. How can we obtain more detailed product information?Just phone, fax or email us with your enquiry, and we'll be happy to oblige. If you are a health professional or re-seller, we will be happy to send product and pricing information. How do we purchase from you?Currently, we do not sell direct from our web site. We would prefer prospective retail customers to either phone, fax, or email orders or product enquiries through with contact details. If the order is straightforward, we would send you an all-up quote (including freight and taxes where applicable) which, once accepted and paid for (by credit card, EFT or cheque), will be despatched promptly. If we require clarification on you order, we will contact you before-hand The same applies for international customers. We will quote you a price in your local currency (based on prevailing exchange rates), plus freight cost options, and insurance if requested. We can take no responsibility for local taxes or other costs in the destination country. In the case of medical professionals, and re-sellers such as pharmacies, surgical suppliers, if you send us your details, we will be happy to supply appropriate pricing information. In Australia, are your products subject to GST (Goods and Services Tax)?Many of the products we deal in do not attract GST (currently 10%), because of their status as medical products. All quotes and invoices we provide will clearly indicate the GST status of the product. What is you product return policy?If you have ordered incorrectly, or have changed your mind for some reason, we will accept goods for credit if they are returned within 30 days from purchase. The product and packaging must be in the same condition as when they were sent out. For health and hygiene reasons, we are not able to accept goods which have been worn, or even tried on. Of course, if the mistake is ours (eg. incorrect goods sent), or the product has a manufacturing fault, we will refund in full, or replace the goods at no additional cost. |
